Travel back in time through the narrow streets of La Médina d'Agadir, an authentic architectural marvel!
Deprived of its old town by the 1960 earthquake, Agadir touched the heart of Beato Salvatore ‘Coco Pollizzi’, a Sicilian master decorator born in Morocco, who had long cherished the ambition of recreating a Medina for the city. Born into a family of builders, it was with supreme determination that he began work on this pharaonic project in 1992, finding here a formidable source of expression for his talents.
On the eve of its opening, Coco Polizzi’s Medina was revealed as an authentic architectural marvel, with a powerful identity in the image of its founder.
La Médina d’Agadir offers a wide range of activities, from Moroccan gastronomy to shopping in boutiques selling Moroccan handicrafts and local products, areas devoted to craftspeople and cultural activities, and tours of the park. A mosaic of sensations!
